Topographic Tables
The Topographic Table is created to display prototypes and packaging models made by students of the Graduate Communication Department.
Inspired by topographic maps, the shifting elevations allow each project to have its own space to showcase and still maintain a coherent theme collectively. The use of honeycomb cardboard not only pays homage to the packaging industry but is also recyclable and reusable.

The display labels take ideas from wayfinding design to help direct viewers’ attention as if they are touring the mountains of packaging design.

Display Tables

The Graduate Communication Department tasked me to design a system to help display prototype and packaging models made by fellow students.
Inspired by topographic maps, the shifting in elevations allows each project to have its own space to showcase and still maintain a coherent theme collectively. The main material is honeycomb cardboard. It not only pays homage to the packaging industry but also is recyclable and reusable. Additionally, the project includes designing display labels.
The work includes production, which was done using a ZUND digital cutter on honeycomb cardboard for the structure and bristol paper for display labels.
